Durham Region is located only 30 minutes from downtown Toronto and offers an incredible standard of living. Close enough to be a part of the vibrant Toronto life but far enough away to breath fresh air, stroll through wooded trails, and enjoy some peace and quiet. Of course Durham is full of incredible amenities all on its own. Transportation services abound and offer a multitude of options. The 401 Hwy runs provides an East to West route in the south. The 407 runs through the north and will connect to the east of Durham in a few years offering an alternative East-West route. The Go Train and buses offer full service through out Durham and beyond. Oshawa has a Via Rail station and Myrtle (north Whitby) will be opening a new station in a few years. The region is also serviced by local bus systems.
